Last night, we saw "The Notebook" @ Broadway In Hollywood / Hollywood Pantages Theatre . For a show about memory and forgetting, it was pleasant and weepy and lovely and ... forgettable. You'll enjoy it while experiences, but come out more sad at the memory loss, not remembering any songs, just the basics of the story. Wonderful performance that are, luckily, quite memorable.

Last night, we saw Kimberly Akimbo on Broadway (National Tour) at Broadway In Hollywood / Hollywood Pantages Theatre. I liked it; my wife was "meh". It was a different show, with a really good message. The only real hummable song was the last one, and this isn't a strong song and dance show. Your mileage may vary, but I enjoyed it.

Last night, we saw "The Wiz" at Broadway In Hollywood​ / Hollywood Pantages Theatre​. Although there were some remarkable performances from the cast, the tempo was more tepid than tempestuous, and some of the story changes didn't work as well. It was good, but not great and could have been so much better. Basically, it didn't believe in the smarts of the original material, in the heart of the original material, and it didn't have the courage to powerfully exceed the original material.
