Kelvin n0mql EN35ldI realized that now with the improved visibility (no desk-shelf in the way) garnered from my latest re-arrangement, I had room to re-add the AM/FM Broadcast radio to the pile. Every once in a while, I like to listen to NPR, or some background music without having a constant internet stream.
KE0FFTLast night I was listening to WCBS 880AM out of NYC while driving from Salem, IL (Dist approx 815mi / 1311km) to Olney, IL - w/ intermittently a very strong signal - all news & talk. On Wed night I was listening to a sports program on WWL 870AM out of New Orleans along that same stretch of road. (Dist from Olney, IL to NOLA is approx 616mi / 992km) - the host on WWL’s show was discussing his top six picks for all-time greatest quarterbacks. Using stock radio in the truck. #AMDX #BroadcastRadio
