The most significant message after #rutherglenandhamiltonwest is not only @scottishlabour or @THESNP loss. It is in fact, the (ir)relevance of politics and elections. Over 60 percent of the eligible electorate did not partake in the election. It may be a by-election, but nobody should be happy with a turnout of only 37,2 percent. All parties must unite to take action on this. @ukparliament @ScotTories Conservatives @[email protected]
