Swiss village of Brienz told to flee imminent monster rockslide

The people of Brienz are threatened by two million cubic metres of rock and have to leave by Friday.

The village of #Brienz #Brinzauls in Graubunden (East of #Switzerland) has its level of risk raised to Orange. Evacuation of all people needs to be done before friday 18h00.
The mountain above the village is unstable and upto 2M cubic meter of rocks is at risk to fall on the village.

Menacé par un important éboulement, le village grison de Brienz doit être évacué d'ici à vendredi à 18h00, a annoncé mardi l'état-major de conduite de la commune d'Albula, dont Brienz fait partie.
