Fantasy Filmfest 2025 - Nights [English] Atmospherically, the sheep thriller knows how to place its fantastic landscape shots in the Irish mountains and reveal the raw dynamics. A dispute between two sheep farming families ends in the mistreatment of Michael's horn bearers. A bloody chase begins between the lush meadows. Michael clashes with Gary and his son Jack. The mood in this revenge flick is depressingly gloomy, as in The Banshees of Inisherin. The film benefits from its non-linear narrative style, effectively staged, plot lines from flashbacks and the present converge. In the broadest sense, it is also a treatise
