@thomasfuchs I don't think there are any photos of my computers but I started with a #VIC20 in 1982, then a #C64, #Amiga 500 in late 1988, Amiga 2000HD, Amiga 3000T, then a self-built PC with an #ASUS #TX97 motherboard with a #Pentium 66 overclocked to 75 MHz and #Win95. The #A3000T had an #A2386 #Bridgeboard which I installed #Slackware #Linux on but not sure whether that counts as a separate computer.

I learned #BASIC on the VIC-20 including creating custom character sets and wrote some simple games with a character moving around the screen.

On the C64 I started writing an adventure game. I had it loading a bitmap and custom font and had a character generator and store working. I had some surface maps and some city and dungeon maps you could walk into and explore. It would be nice to have that disk today.

@WintaireJae Slackware in 1995 installed on my Amiga A2386 Bridgeboard. Recompiling the kernel took many hours. Used it to write my own rudimentary compression utility in C with a maximum compression of only 25%. Fun times. #Slackware #Linux #Amiga #A2386 #Bridgeboard
