My wife put on a movie last night in the hotel room. I wasn’t really paying attention as it was ultra-violent and full of cartoonish gang bangers. But it was compelling and I finally started watching. The end was sappy, peace, love, brotherhood. When the credits rolled it turned out a Franco-Canadian production called Brick Mansions, written by Luc Besson, and a remake of his Banlieue 13. Suddenly it all made sense.
