Excellent thread! Thanks so much for explaining the usage, pros & cons of these #IM /communication systems!

Personally, I've been leaning towards something #P2P (cut out all the issues related to servers) & can still work when the Internet is down (in our case, due to tech problems not politics) but still have WiFi etc
