Saint Maud is my kind of horror, psychological much more than physical (gore, etc.), and well-acted, directed, and shot.
It reminded me very much of Breaking the Waves in its depiction of a certain kind of faith.
Even though I understood what was happening, the way the ending was shot still made the truth gut-wrenching.
The final shot may be the best in the history of movies. It's definitely among the best possible.
