New York Times is enshittifying Wordle; what now?

@[email protected] @[email protected] Are you kidding me? I went to go play #Wordle1629 and the New York Times tried to show me a full-screen ad before the puzzle. Are they that desperate now? This rag is circling the drain, and I think the [email protected] community should take its gaming elsewhere. If there’s still an ad page there tomorrow morning, I will #BreakMyStreak and stop playing this version. There are plenty of alternatives out there. I prefer pre-NYT Wordle.
