I'm playing the "How Mean Am I Really?" game with myself as I set up this book.

#BravoBrides is a four book series with potentially more books in the future. Straight up SFR which I'm pitching as sort of... "The Gray Man meets The Bachelor when a spy goes undercover as a potential bride on a space station."
And my Foreshadowing List for Chapter 1 is LONG.
Dear Future Scientist Reading This Book,
I'm sorry about what I did to the moons when I terraformed them. Please know I have regrets (not large ones, but existent ones).
Love,
Liana
Okay, the music is on, the lights are on in Ukraine and Twitter, the book document is open, I have a brand new whiteboard, and I have words to write before Friday.
She stretched her fingers along the gritty sheets, algae woven fabric grown dry and brittle as it aged. Familiar smells of sweat, engine lubricant, and burning wires wrapped around her, the spikey hug of home.
Shocking absolutely no one who has read any of my other books the major themes here are:
- identity
- acceptance
- partnerships
- the meaning of family
If your jam is enemies-to-lovers, battle couples, found families, people seeing and loving the real you, or overthrowing oligarchies you're going to love this series.
The third book is Friends/Rivals-To-Lovers and Book 4 is a (spoiler!) Second Chance Romance.
Adding the third POV of a non-romantic character gives me room to explore both platonic relationships and the politics that drive the enemies-to-lovers tropes in the first two books.
