Well, well. Iβve popped off On Here numerous times about going to the Round Rock Public Library followed by a visit to the Brass Tap.
This magnificent signage is easily visible from the library reading rooms.
They are speaking the language of my people, right there.
My other item for the stout drinkers: Stone Brewing of Escondido, CA's Xocoveza, also a Russian Imperial stout, similar general profile as the Sputnik but maybe with some pepper and cinnamon notes, though not a flavored beer. Also a big win.
#BrassTap #RoundRock at the moment has a buyer who is a true believer about stouts and big beers generally -- They have 7 stouts on tap. I mean, dayyyam, right?

Today, I went to the #BrassTap (Yes, I'd been to the library!) -- and I had a Mexican Lager made with Norwegian hops called, ahem, "Norway Jose."
It was delicious and a bit complicated and on style and truly unusual. -- hard to pull off!
It was made by #JensenAckles' #FamilyBusinessBeerCo, which has matured into a pretty swell craft brewery.
The bony dude's chair I coveted some months ago? Itβs mine now. #BrassTap, #RoundRock.
The beer is #JesterKing Black Metal. It is a much more friendly beer than the name suggests.
