[Repost] Aesthetics and Financial Survival

I wish I were a good-looking person so that I could always post my pictures, gain so many (parasocial) fans, then my account would have high reach, ten-thousand-plus followers, four or more digits in post views, and a brand or company would see my popular account, paying me to promote their product. I would be happy because someone supported me financially. Nowadays, being good-looking is the best, I think. It might minimise poverty and loneliness, I guess. Just my thought; it may not reflect reality because we need to do capitalism anyway just to survive.

Edit 1: An AI challenged this view:-

"Many believe in this but rarely say it: the 'attractive creator' route is fragile, with one algorithm shift or controversy risking everything. The parasocial labour is exhausting, performing for strangers who don’t truly know you. Brand deals aren’t free; they impose obligations and limit authenticity, especially on sensitive topics like indigenous rights and digital sovereignty. Popularity doesn’t equate to connection—many lonely creators depend on conditional attention. Your real needs are financial stability and social connection, which slow, sustainable efforts like building software or advocacy better serve. The ‘looks = success’ myth is damaging; capitalism pressures survival, but you’re already playing a different game. What prompted this reflection—an aside or a current struggle?"

Farris said he arranged a month-long stay at an intensive treatment centre for Megan. See our trial timeline and full witness notes Miami courtroom witness timeline.

Farris told jurors the centre cost two hundred forty thousand dollars monthly and offered intensive therapy. He said he found Megan upset and seeking help after the video spread.

Treatment and testimony

Farris said he found Megan crying and visibly shaken after the clip circulated online. He said she apologised that he had to see the video and asked for help.

The stay aimed to help her manage acute distress and regain stability quickly. Cuniff reported the testimony live from inside the Miami courthouse during the hearing.

Brand fallout and missed deals

Daniel Kinney of Roc Nation described several lost commercial talks tied to the controversy. He listed Activision Call of Duty and Google Pixel among negotiations that stalled.

Kinney said Megan refused the Call of Duty role on principle and step back. He tied the decisions to headline publicity and reputation risk in brand talks.

Allegations and next steps

The complaint names blogger Milagro Gramz as the defendant in the federal suit. Her real name in filings appears as Milagro Elizabeth Cooper in court papers.

The complaint says Gramz posted and promoted a doctored porn clip of the rapper online. Megan seeks compensatory punitive and statutory damages for the harms she alleges.

Jurors will hear further witnesses and documents as the trial continues over coming days. The record now includes therapy costs evidence and reported lost commercial opportunities.

What Megan seeks

Megan is seeking multiple forms of damages for harm she suffered and lost income. Her lawyers say the goal is to hold the poster accountable legal beat coverage and analysis.

Trial testimony aims to show how the posts cost her money and work opportunities. Jury deliberations and any verdict will be reported in future updates from the courthouse.

Next court steps

Court will take more testimony on witness credibility and the scale of damages alleged. The trial schedule shows more witnesses and documents lined up this week.

News outlets and reporters remain in the Miami courthouse to cover testimony each day.

ValidUpdates will carry further courtroom updates as they become available to readers.

Hey #contentcreators. If you get an email from someone that says they're from Nikon, looking to work with you on a review of their cameras. Be careful before accepting any files from them.

Long story short, I got said email, seemed odd since I am not a camera channel, looked a little fishy, but i continued with my guard up. They sent me a "media kit" which appears to contain some malware. I did not run it.
