That Friday night car accident punched harder than I thought. Didn’t need a concussion to close out Brain Injury Awareness Month, but grateful urgencias (ER) at Hospital La Fe got me in and thru CT & X-Rays & results in 2.5 hours.

Having had a previous concussion that led to a stroke puts you on fast track, but don’t recommend it. Glad anything more severe like bleeding was ruled out.
Rest, rest, medicine & more rest on doctor’s orders. 🙏🏼

This is the last day of #braininjuryawarenessmonth … June 29, 2011, I got dizzy and nauseous on a plane, was found unconscious at bathroom door. I had a concussion that led to a 24/7 migraine for nearly 2 years & caused a stroke.
8 marathons and counting since.

Interesting share. Synchron was 1st Co. approved for BCI (brain computer interface) trials in humans. Elon Musk’s Neuralink has been denied approval as not ready for prime time yet.
As a TBI ➡️ stroke survivor, I’m fascinated by all things neuro. This technology needs many guardrails but has potential to greatly improve lives.
