Hello friends! 😊 How's everyone doing today? I'm taking it easy and working from the recliner in our living room due to some pain and inflammation in my feet. Elevating them seems to be helping. They still hurt a little, but I can finally move my toes without excruciating pain! 🙌

I've been dealing with some weird inflammation in different parts of my body, and my feet are just the latest and worst spot. My stepdad headed off to the grocery store a little while ago, and the only downside to being in the living room is the dogs barking when he returns. I'm all tensed up expecting them to bark at any time. Might just go ahead and put on my headphones to avoid the overstimulation. 🎧

I'm about to dive into lesson 15 of my #BrailleProofreading course, and I also plan to fit in some #Coding practice with #Codecademy. Looking forward to making progress!

To #blind people: I'm seeking someone who knows how to use #BrailleBlaster with large books. I need help understanding page numbering and getting it working in a book I'm transcribing and proofreading.

I've tried following the manual and asked for help on the BrailleBlaster mailing list, but the explanation given by another list member didn't help. I can't afford Duxbury and the other translation software I've tried, Sao Mai Braille, doesn't support a lot of US standards for UEB.

I would really appreciate any help with this!

Hi, all! How is everyone today? I slept all day yesterday and started my day at 2:30 AM this morning, so I'm doing good. I slept about 15 hours yesterday. 😴 Lol my mom said I was talking in my sleep, which I don't think I've ever done before, and it sounded like Chinese. No idea what that was about! 😂

Brr! 🥶 I'm freezing right now! My room gets so cold at night (and hot during the day) thanks to two big windows. Doesn't help that my desk is right under the AC vent! 😅 Might have to hunt for my slippers and change into warmer clothes. Wearing a dress was not the best choice, lol!

Hi all. How is everyone tonight? I slept for most of the day after taking medicine to help me sleep last night. I had no choice with headaches that wouldn't let me rest. I also needed the medicine to help me fall asleep while on an incline, which is necessary for several of my conditions. Lately, I can't get comfortable unless I sleep flat, but that's not good for my health.

Now I'm drinking coffee and working on the drills for lesson 14 of my Braille proofreading course. Lol everybody else is asleep. My baby Squeaker is in his bed under my desk beside me. We had an incident that had his kennel smelling very strongly of pee last night so he can't sleep in it right now.

Good morning, all! Just woke up, had breakfast, and now I'm sipping re-heated coffee from last night's pot. Today's agenda: a neurologist appointment for nerve block injections to manage my #OccipitalNeuralgia. It's a mix of dread and anticipation - painful procedure, but months of relief make it worthwhile.

This round wore off early due to a brief gap in my medication, but I'm hopeful for better results this time.

On the learning front, I'm diving into lesson 13 of my #BrailleProofreading course after receiving feedback on lesson 12. Also on the to-do list: finishing a #freeCodeCamp #JavaScript project - a #Pokémon search app. I've been procrastinating a bit because JS can be challenging!

My mom and stepdad brought back Mexican food from their trip to Mom's doctor appointment earlier. After that, it's either programming work or bed - I'm a bit tired, so we'll see.

Funny moment with Squeaker earlier: He didn't want to go to his kennel when called. He tried hiding in his daytime bed under my desk! Thought I'd have to chase him, but he finally came after several calls. He's already in bed now. 😄
