Aaron@Flare @jlou @aeleoglyphic I actually do use a credit union. I could do better being selective about the other places my money goes. I made a post recently about boycotting profit. I think ultimately this is the most effective option, if only people can be stirred up to embrace it. It's the cultural shift, more than anything, which is the most vital ingredient.
That's also why I'm a big fan of Mastodon. It's a cooperative/social/bottom-up system by nature, thanks to its federated structure. This gives people a real world taste of what socialist systems have to offer. If only they realized where that delicious flavor is coming from, they'd me more inclined to season everything with it.
