Boycott oil and gas on January 8 in protest of this Venezuela action:

I support this wholeheartedly, except for one thing: what happens on January 9?
Please, if you can, get oil and gas out of your life altogether. If you own your home, swap out your furnace for a heat pump. If you can, trade your gas car for an EV. Trump wants to wire us in to fossil fuels permanently. Fossil fuels have *always* been a source of corruption, in the US and abroad, but never more than now. Electrification is resistance.
If you'd like detailed advice about what it's like on the other side or how to swing it, DM me and I'll do what I can. (Used EV's are an oft-overlooked option, for instance.) And for some the switch won't yet be feasible, sadly.
Also, advocate for EV charging near apartment blocks and at work sites. Advocate for a renter's right to have an EV charger (L2 or even L1) installed if requested. This is the biggest bottleneck, in my opinion.
