Ned Neale was born in 1805 and was known as the Streatham Youth. Having won against all comers and dealing with the heartache of his wife Mary passing away in childbirth. You have to admire the pugilist Harry Jones. In 1824 Jones arranged to get married and fight on the same day. After his vows he rushed off to fight Jem Aldridge at Pentonville for the sum of five pounds.
