Overhanging #boulders are a real challenge. As well as needing quite a bit of strength just to pull yourself up, you also need the right technique. It’s not at all easy to hold yourself up using just your fingers and toes. This is Gideon and my contribution to today's #PhotoSuggestion, “Effort”.

Last year we went on a climbing holiday to #Fontainebleau in #France. The area is absolutely beautiful and, as well as offering sporting challenges, is perfect for hiking or cycling along the Seine.

Falling Water

This large waterfall in the French Vosges was getting plenty supply of water, as it was a very wet week when we were there, last year's summer. All that humidity made these rocks extremely slippery. And so I rather stayed on the path.

Soon, a few photography friends and I will be presenting each other our best shots of the past year. And with selecting your best shots, comes the dismissal of the ones you really like, but ultimately don't make the cut. I will be sharing those shots here, in chronological order. This is number 10 of 19.
