#Gruson gestiftet wurden. Er besaß Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts die größte Kakteensammlung Europas und vermachte sie nach seinem Tod der Stadt Magdeburg. Und jetzt ratet mal, nach wem dieser
#Goldkugelkaktus aus Mexiko benannt wurde: Kroenleinia grusonii.

#GrusonGewächshäuser conservatory in Magdeburg, a botanical garden named after Hermann Gruson, entrepreneur and collector of cacti. Built after his death, the
#conservatory houses the
#plant collection he bequeathed to the city of Magdeburg – once the largest collection of
#cacti in Europe at the end of the 19th century. Now, guess after whom this
#goldenBarrelCactus from Mexico, Kroenleinia grusonii, was named.
