Spent a nice rainy day at the U.S. Botanic Garden's conservatory.
D.C. has always made me feel a mix of feelings. Right now, seeing gross banners on federal buildings is unsettling, but those buildings and institutions themselves suddenly feel really important to me.
Seeing something as beautiful as the Botanic Garden or the Smithsonian museums being built, expertly curated, and made free to the public does make me feel a type of way.
