Despite the rain and strong westerly wind yesterday soaring #Bird #migration continued undeterred !

This Spanish #ringed adult Egyptian #Vulture joined the brave migrators as the march of 496 Black #Kites, several Short-toed #Eagles and both Black and White Storks braved the weather to get to the breeding grounds!

Yesterday we were amongst #FlywayBirding with local friends and guests from The Scottish Ornithologists' Club

633 Short-toed #Eagles, 574 Black #Kites, 2 Egyptian #Vultures, 50 Black Storks and 25 White Storks crossing the #14km divide and making it to Europe right in front of us !
