Have been listening to #AndySerkis' audio book reading of #TheLordOfTheRings which is apparently #free on archive.org. His performance is spirited, though a little uneven in spots, and his singing is just fair. His voicing choices sound inspired by the actors in the Peter Jackson films (AS mimics Sean Bean's #Boromir, Sir Ian McKellen's #Gandalf, etc.). It is also a little odd overall since it is a bit like #Gollum reading #JRRTolkien's translation of The Red Book of Westmarch to me. Overall though, nicely done.
