I told a family member that I no longer am on #borgsite and so, they now send me links every day back to the social latrine. I have a new use for #LLM’s. I want them to take these Facebook links and summarize what they found there. I don’t want to expose myself to that awfulness. I want a machine to do it. That’s part of the whole hazardous work part, right? I tried #Bard and it complained that it couldn’t do it. Wimp. Ah well, link goes unvisited. We need tech to shield us from the awfulness.

Apparently Reddit has now banned a subreddit dedicated to the Fediverse Reddit-alternative Kbin: https://sakurajima.moe/@chikorita157/110517156242412322 If you're on a centralised platform like Reddit, this is what they can do. Centralised platforms have all-powerful leaders who can do whatever they want, and you have no alternatives if you disagree.
