This morning’s hour of #BooksAndBrews is still devoted to figuring out the family TTRPG, which means a deep dive into Werewolf: The Apocalypse. ☕🐺 They’re looking for something modern (or near-modern), investigative, action-forward, with magic, supernatural, or superpowers, and this one checks a lot of those boxes. This is #2 of my 5 finalists so far. Am I overthinking it? Almost certainly. But that’s half the fun, right? 🎲😄
Today’s #BooksAndBrews is a reread of The Summer of Riots to prep for my #TheBlackCompanyTTRPG playtest later this month. ☕⚔️ The mechanics are brutal in the best way, laser-focused on what it means to be a mortal soldier in a merciless world, where survival hinges on the Company and the person watching your flank. I cannot wait to put this on the table.
