We live in a increasingly divided America with both sides firmly dug in. Can it be fixed? Through speculative nonfiction and research, the author paints a grim picture of the future of the United States. He describes a hyper-partisan and violent society unable to deal with the approaching storm. With everything coming to a boil, how would we deal with a civil war?
Whatever your political views, most of us sense an America slipping away. I have not completely given up hope, but I could see the end coming soon. What that would look like, we can only speculate.
