I honestly saw a youtube video from Nerdforge and thought 'I need to do this', so I got a toolset for like 50 Euro, watched some more videos, googled some stuff and then made my first bracelet :) Since then it only got worse and I now have a small cabinet full of stuff.

I am currently binding a fanfiction for a friend that has more then 1,5 million words, so it will be multiple books. And my friend decided on mourning paper (it has fully black edges) and it was soooo funny to order 11kg of mourning paper from my favorite paper store.

I felt like binding a book again. Made it bjd sized because I hope one of my doll related friends will take it off me 😂 it's 4cm x 5.5cm small.
I really like coptic bindings, they look so pretty!

Endpapers are cyanotype paper with leaf patterns created from various foliage I foraged from woods around Washington state. Endbands are blue and green silk soie perlée, with a blue ribbon bookmark hanging from the top. The cover is hand foiled in gold foil (purchased from Rocky Mountain Leather Supply). Cover design is based on the window in The Obscure Distillery, with key logo in the center.

I'm playing with my knob.

A quick design in #FreeCAD while I run a test print on a new (to me) printer. These will be for the quick finishing press I started yesterday. The plan is to insert a M601 pause in the gcode and hope that I can just drop the nut in before printing the little capture corners.
