Update! It's all done~ I may not be happy with the book block entirely, but wow I did so well with the elastic, and I love the colours too 👀
It's rather difficult to bind the book this way too, the covers aren't really well aligned. Next time when I do something similar it will be with coptic stitch with a new tool I'll be getting (excited!), which should align the covers a lot better.

🇬🇧 I still have this one mushroom pocket book and some moss and wood bark ones available on my site at my small corner of the internet. Feel free to take a look if you're interested 🌱🍄🟫📜

Working on a practice #bookbinding project, the book block is cut so wonkily but it'll do for a practice project ;u;

Oooh an ask <3 <3 <3
I honestly saw a youtube video from Nerdforge and thought 'I need to do this', so I got a toolset for like 50 Euro, watched some more videos, googled some stuff and then made my first bracelet :) Since then it only got worse and I now have a small cabinet full of stuff.
I am currently binding a fanfiction for a friend that has more then 1,5 million words, so it will be multiple books. And my friend decided on mourning paper (it has fully black edges) and it was soooo funny to order 11kg of mourning paper from my favorite paper store.

I felt like binding a book again. Made it bjd sized because I hope one of my doll related friends will take it off me 😂 it's 4cm x 5.5cm small.
I really like coptic bindings, they look so pretty!
