More bus book recommendations. Picked this up in Evening Books, read a random story (the one on p49) and had a range of interesting emotional responses within its short page length, took it away with me. Recommend.

I got sad this morning so I went to the library. It's always a good place to find a pick-me-up.
I was browsing through the politics section and noticed a lot of Leftist books. A great selection. But the books on conservative ideology were lacking. I was looking for a book which describes the reasons why conservativism is oftentimes attractive to the working class when all evidence seems contrary.

My BFF is recovering from surgery so I want to buy her a book, but we have zero crossover in our book tastes so I’ve no idea what to get her.
IIRC she loves Marian Keyes but I think she’s read them all so I’m looking for recommendations for something similar and I don’t trust Amazon etc recommendations.
