I got a proof copy of the new version of "Culture is Bad for You: Inequality in the Cultural and Creative Industries" (now available!) and I cannot recommend this book highly enough.
If you work in culture in ANY way at all in the UK, you have to read this. It's actually a wonderful read because it's been written by researchers who write like humans.
It's also, y'know, fascinating and really important.

I found this article quite inciteful. As a mood reader, I often struggle deciding what to read next. As a parent I also struggle sorting through which children's books are appropriate or will appeal to my child.
