Dunbar's NumberA little while back, my sister was here and we were trying to watch #films. One of said films we tried to watch was #BookOfClarence. We ended up getting like ten minutes in and dropping it. I returned to it today and holy fuck, it's actually a really good #film. Well written, well played and well acted and I say that as a non-religious person. An all-round enjoyable #movie. Well maybe not all-round as it's not suitable for drunk watches, but other than that.

#LaKeithStanfield is wonderful as the titular character, and the supporting cast is terrific, so much so that #IMDB decided to list two of the minor characters first under "top cast", and LaKeith is listed fifth. Top cast doesn't normally mean "most famous". Look at the main poster, the picture itself as well as the credit block at the top. #TheBookOfClarence #BookOfClarence #AMCScreenUnseen 2/3
Went to my first #AMCScreenUnseen last night, and the movie they showed was #TheBookOfClarence #BookOfClarence . I'd seen the trailer and had been interested in seeing it.
It turned out to be completely different than what I expected. I'll admit that for the first half hour, I wasn't really feeling it, but as I started to really understand where they were going, I just went with it. It's a really interesting take on a very familiar story. 1/3
