I'd like to bind A4 printouts in blocks of about 100/200 pages, without buying a binding machine.

Plan: 4-hole punch + cardstock covers + Chicago screws / binding screws, maybe with washers.

Has anyone tried this for readers, course packs, or zines?

Any practical advice welcome.

I'm often astonished at the sheer number and range of supplies, decisions and solutions that go into building a book!! I just measured and poked 1,128 holes into those pages, by the way. Hopefully they line up nicely when I sew them in!!!
