This is crazy- I just unexpectedly re-encountered a piece of media that deeply unsettled me as a young child.
It’s an episode of the animated series “Princess of Power” (stop laughing!) ominously and accurately titled “Book Burning”.
While most of this series’ “scary” threats were pretty clearly fictional even to a young child, this story was about bad IDEAS, and therefore uniquely legitimate in its horror.
