Kind of amazing that so many #CreditSuiss #BondInvestors are angry that the #Swiss government wrote down the bonds they bought which say they can be written down in the prospectus. Apparently many "sophisticated" #investors don't read the prospectus. I guess that since many of them are investing Other People's Money (#OPM) it's not worth their time. The best story about professional money managers is still the Teamsters pension fund - well, it is infuriating and sad, but revealing.

This is how saavy _some_ institutional #bondInvestors are. The infamous #Paulson mortgage backet securities bet, sold by #GoldmanSachs, prospectus states you'd be an idiot to buy this garbage. It even says GS & " counterparty" may have undisclosed material information! And people put hundreds of millions into it. #dumbmoney
