Lol'd at #dollyParton piece, that I think that was unintentional (there was probably a floral painted record there at some point, but like trying to interpret a banana duct taped to the wall, I stared at this mundane fixture and tried to envision how it might represent Dolly Parton...) #thinkAboutIt
@murden I feel like ideal route to #BonAirVA is biking from Nickel Bridge to Veil II complex and then along Jahnke Road ... You are fine until you get to Chippenham Parkway. My ideas are (1) some sort of cut-through from Boulders Drive to Rock Creek Lake which might involve the woods (2) risking it across the ChickenHam Pkwy overpass and darting into the Brown Road neighborhood area and cutting through to Buford at the Unity Church trail.

As an analogy of #rva to #washingtonDC, #BonAirVA is #fallschurch, while #midlothian is the #fairfax / #fairfaxcounty ... And #shortpump is #bethesda / #rockvillemd ... There is some dysfunction between these somewhat overlapping municipalities. #chesterfieldCounty and #henrico and Richmond city proper are all part of greater #rva like the #dmv is one place or several depending on how you look at it.
One thing I appreciate about #mastodon is the ability to post multiple images. Here are a bunch of #virginia #maps from a roadside #restStop showing #rva and #washingtondc as part of the #dmv along #i95 ... Note that #BonAirVA is on south side of the #jamesRiver
