Watched the #MalteseFalcon for the first time, and despite it being a classic #filmnoir, and despite a cliché of #film noir being that the private detective is a heavy drinker, there was almost a complete absence of #alcohol throughout the film. Contrast that with literally any #show or #movie today where every single meeting involves having #drinks, and it was pretty surprising.
