While it's sad that, after 30ish years, Saint Etienne has decided to stop making new music, given the quality of what they've put out over that time, it's hard to argue with the desire to go out on top.

To celebrate, they've held a joyful/wistful wake, as you'd expect from this band, and they've invited a lot of their friends along.

Die Saint Etienne-Mitglieder kurierten eine Kollektion britischer Popgeschichte zwischen Psychedelic-Bewegung und Progressive Rock - melodisch, melancholisch, mit Jazz- und Folk-Elementen. Stanley brachte seine Expertise als Musikjournalist in das Projekt ein.
