Elderly blue tongue skinks somehow manage to look old and wrinkly, despite being covered in large scales. The scales along their lips go a bit wonky.

With a bit of luck Jerry might live to this sort of age, but he's still a youngster in blue tongue terms. He'll be 5 in December.

Talen went to take out the bins and revealed this tiny little friend! Mercifully the bin enclosure is out front, so the dog didn't get to have a go... but it's also exposed driveway out there with only some tiny gardens for cover, so I'm a bit concerned for it :\ We popped a cardboard box out there for now so it at least has some kind of hide, but that's not going to do much in the long term. Should I be calling someone? Is this WIRES-worthy? #BlueTongueSkinks #LizardPosting #AussieProblems
