Ride for Our Republic · Mobilize

This Wednesday March 25th we ride again to get the word out about NO KINGS 3 rally, sure to be the largest protest in US history, Saturday March 28th! We will gather in Galaxy Park at the intersection of Main St, 3rd St, and Broadway in Kendall Square at 5pm. From there we will ride on the streets from Cambridge, Somerville, and Arlington. Everyone have at least one large sign with "No Kings 3 SAT" attached to your bike or person! "No War" and "No ICE" signs would be great too! No Kings 3 Boston: https://www.mobilize.us/indivisible-ma/event/901135/ ------------------------------------------------------ Ride for Our Republic is a recurring pro-democracy bike ride held on the last Saturday of each month that was held April-October 2025. In the spirit of Paul Revere and on the 250th anniversary of the first American Revolution, we ride to sound the alarm of tyranny and fight for our democracy. Fascism cannot flourish where joy and solidarity thrive. That truth is the heartbeat of Ride for Our Republic: a growing community of cyclists reclaiming Boston’s streets and bike paths as spaces of protest, hope, and joyful resistance. Please follow our facebook page: www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100088170471304 Our monthly #Ride4Republic bike protests will restart in April 2026. We’ll ride a 12.7-mile route (bike paths + roads), but you’re welcome to join or leave at the waypoints where we rally and connect. Route: Boston → Davis Sq (3.9 mi) Davis Sq → Arlington Center (3.8 mi) Arlington Center → Lexington Center (5 mi) 10:00am – Meet at Paul Revere Park near the playground (North Washington St., Charlestown) – rain or shine 10:45–11:00am – 7 Hills Park, Davis Square, Somerville behind the T station 11:30–11:45am – Uncle Sam Statue, Arlington Center Ending Point – Lexington Center, Minuteman Bikeway Bring: bright colors or neon, pro-democracy costumes or signs (bike frame, basket, shirt, or bag), American flags, and No Kings signs. Bluebikes Celebrates 25 Million Rides With $25 Credits - Streetsblog Massachusetts

At some point during the day on Wednesday, someone took the 25-millionth ride on the Bluebikes regional bikesharing system. @shoozejim ooh, good point, I love the #MiddlesexFells! They have very great sequence of trails readily accessible via #MedfordMA and #MaldenMA - #HickeyPark has a #BlueBikes station and is about a mile's walk from a trailhead, and #OakGrove isn't that far if you're on the #OrangeLine - Thanks for the reminder, its a good prompt to compile a post of #BostonHikes in a future #BostonWeekend thread :)

The latest Red Line closure that starts in a few hours is going to be particularly long and disruptive, so #Bluebikes will once again 5 free unlocks to help you get around. Use the code MBTAREDJULY in the Bluebikes app.
