Hypertension, known as the silent killer, affects over 1 billion adults worldwide and contributes to serious conditions like heart attacks, strokes, and heart failure. It often shows no symptoms but quietly damages your body. Early detection and proper management are key to living a longer, healthier life.
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘀:
Hypertension is defined as blood pressure ≥130/80 mmHg (ACC guidelines).
Nearly 45% of adults globally suffer from it.
By 2025, the affected population may rise to 1.5 billion.
Proper and accurate BP measurement prevents misdiagnosis and unnecessary medication.
