In the mid 1980’s I organised #BloodDonors at my employers in Sydney.
The hospital would send a bus for us & feed us after donating.
After the 1st year of employees giving blood, my employer called me into his office & told me he wanted the donations STOPPED.
I was the ETU union rep at the time & I ignored him.
After awhile the business received a certificate thanking it for the employee donations.
The boss had it framed, called the local rag & posed for a photo with the cert. #ArseHat

I am going to the vampires (#bloodbank) today it will be my ninth plasma donation this year and maybe the final for the year.
Tuesday will determine this!
But enough about me! In the #europe, in general, there is a lack of #blooddonors. If you have the ability to donate I urge you to do so!
It takes a small amount of time and is virtually pain free!
