"Discover your inner artist! Create your own block printed cards and tote bag!
Join us for an afternoon of creativity! Block printing is a fun and easy way to create unique cards and decorate gifts, like cloth tote bags! Participants will leave with their block print, new skills, a set of their own handmade greeting cards, and a beautiful tote bag.
No experience required. All materials and some inspiration will be provided. We will have examples of block printing designs that relate to the flora and fauna of Maine which can be used to hand draw your own versions, or you can create from scratch! Stencils will also be provided. Ages 16+ Minimum of 5 registered participants to run."

The International #Cryptozoology Museum is moving to #BangorME, so I am donating your lovely card as well as a Moth Man plush to the museum for their new digs! (They are currently in #PortlandME, but are moving next year). I'm sure they will find a nice spot in the Moth Man exhibit for these new items!

not quite happy with how these came out - these are the best of the batch.
I usually make small prints, so not has this problem before, but the water based ink seemed to be drying too quickly.
I think i need to try the oil based ink next time, or add some drying retarder, I have some, but forgot to add any this time.
Done carving!
Now to give it a wash, then hopefully making prints tomorrow

REALLY like how all of them turned out, they were super fun!
Oh, I also made a couple of these last night to make sure everything worked right. I’m going to be giving these to friends and relatives this holiday with little treats or chocolates inside.
