Just across the #Acushnet River from where I live, #NewBedford, #Massachusetts. got an all-time record 37 inches of snow in this #Blizzard of '26. My house lost power for just an hour during the storm, but others in #FairhavenMA were out for 30 hours or more. Some still have no power since early Monday morning. Many roads are still not cleared. My little house is in good shape, but we still can't really leave it yet, except on foot.

My town in southeastern Massachusetts got about 30 inches of snow today with higher drifts. Parts of MA and RI are breaking Blizzard of '78 records. A lot of my back yard was more than twice dog height and the area Broxo is standing in was shoveled 3 times today.

WHOA. I was in Providence for the Blizzard of ‘78. They got more snow than Boston. Unbelievable amount of snow. Everything shut down for a week and we really did run out of food. And that, children, is how bread and milk was born. Give it up for the #Blizzardof26 !
