I'm watching #Blindspot from about 2015 or so.

And you know what? It's hard not to empathise with the "bad guys", who believe that America is fundementally corrupt and broken and the only way to fix it is to tear everything down and start again.

Yes, they kill a lot of people, but you know what? So do the FBI. And there's a lot of ethically dubious stuff that gets paid lip service (like mass surveillance on US citizens), but they'll still just casually say "I broke into their email, they're going to a meeting right now" like that's a thing you can and should do without going and getting a warrant.

Not to mention that basically all the main characters should probably be fired for misconduct over the course of a couple of seasons. As a viewer I like them, but damn, they are not good at doing their jobs legally.

Only on season 2, maybe they'll make the baddies irredeemable somehow, but at the moment, they seem to be the chemo fighting the cancer of poor government.
