Hello, I just finished publishing xmpp-it.net happyhour podcasts and videos on #bittorrent

I did this again from scratch because the old .torrent files had a not working tracker, so I just replaced it with udp://tracker.opentrackr.org:1337/announce

In addition to that content, I have also shared Schimon Jehudah's presentations about #Blasta and #Rivista journal (both XMPP software - English language) and the latest talk at #LinuxDayTorino by @laic_salocin about #lineageos and xmpp.

Everything is in #Italian language.

For #Inktober day 11, we have a reminder of how extensible and flexible #XMPP actually is. While people usually think only of private messaging à la #Signal and #Arattai, the same protocol can be used for cases as diverse as social media updates, shared bookmarking, newsfeeds, and more.

Initiatives like #Movim, #Blasta, and #Libervia demonstrate that it's not just a question of being able to communicate among birds, but also among animals, starfish, and maybe even #sting-ray!

"A federated PubSub bookmarking system for XMPP.
Blasta is a collaborative bookmarks manager for organizing online content. It allows you to add links to your personal collection of links, to categorize them with keywords, and to share and synchronize your collection among your own software, devices, machines, and also with others. The ability of Blasta to display to you the links that other people have collected and shared, as well as showing you who else has bookmarked a specific link is what makes Blasta a collaborative system. You can also view the links collected by others, and subscribe to the links of people whose lists you deem to be interesting. Blasta does not limit you to save links of certain types; you can save links of types adc, dweb, ed2k, feed, ftp, gemini, geo, gopher, http, ipfs, irc, magnet, mailto, monero, mms, news, sip, udp, xmpp and any scheme and type that you desire."
