⚪ David Brown (Reform UK): 16.9% (+10.8)
🟠Andrew Cregan (Liberal Democrats): 2.1% (-1.0)
🟢 Ben Thomas (Green): 2.0% (+0.3)

Labour GAIN from Conservative.

We have most of the overnight results in now. More counting later this morning.
It's been a pretty disasterous night for the Conservatives, not just with councils but also with the #BlackpoolSouth by-election. Labour put in a decent innings, and Independents gained in a couple of key councils.

The Conservatives have now lost over 100 seats, and control of four councils.
This, alongside the by-election result in #BlackpoolSouth, is proving a disaster for the party.
LABOUR GAIN BLACKPOOL SOUTH
With a MAHOOSIVE swing of 26.3%.
Looks like the #BlackpoolSouth result is imminent.

The results seem to have slowed down a bit. It's a decent night for Labour, and a worst-case disaster for the Conservatives.
Labour thinks they've won #BlackpoolSouth, but we're still awaiting the results.
State of the parties at 03:00:
Labour now in solid net gains territory.
Conservatives have lost far more seats than they've won.
Gains for Independents largely driven by local issues.
Oh, and we're still waiting on #BlackpoolSouth.
Verification in #BlackpoolSouth has now completed, and the counting can now actually begin.
