One thing about service disruptions on a decentralized network is that you get to find out how decentralized the network actually is, and how various claims of independence line up with reality.

mcc @mcc, who really knows her stuff, and has taken this opportunity to take a hard look at what happens to 'independent' services, including #Blacksky, when #Bluesky has issues.

It's a fascinating read...

yes! logged into #blacksky today since #bluesky is down - can catch up with all my peeps who did likewise or over on #northsky Using my normal handle, of course - folks who are just on bluesky because its not twitter, this is also a reason - if Bluesky the company disappears, no biggie.

Moje konto na pds EuroSky.social oraz na infrastrukturze AppView od BlackSky (niezależnej) działało cały czas.
