Having been to Burning Man twice (many years ago), the shape of #BlackRockCity was the inspiration for GGG's main setting, Las Rafagas. Ultimately, the town became rectangular, the but the outpost is still a crescent!

Looks like #BlackRockCity dodged the thunderstorm downpour today. Just enough drizzle to keep the dust down. Steady wind of 15-20 MPH. Center Camp, DMV, The Man, The Temple, and Camp Arctica all closed in preparation of the storm. 7 hour wait at the Gate tonight, it was 17 hours this morning. The city looks full, but it’s only Monday!
Burning Man isn't just a festival; it's a transformative experience. After nearly a decade since my last visit, the magic of Black Rock City still lingers. For many, it's not just about what you bring, but the energy you contribute!

but I just removed two air conditioners and one double window fan from active duty in my apartment for the season.
I still have several fans set up in the apartmernt, including a little desktop #Dreo that keeps my Mac cool.
Also … just after 1:00 pm Sunday, twenty-six years ago today (three and a half days after I set out from #BristolRI)
I arrived at #BlackRockCity for #BurningMan ’99.
Ignore the naysayers … it was an incredible experience.
