If I had a dollar for every performative, jingoistic, pro-Black race and gender essentialist who, lacking honest self-awareness, has purity tested the authenticity of my Blackness and femininity, exactly like Europeans besotted with the drug of whiteness, I'd be materially wealthy, and as intellectually and ethically bankrupt as my critics.

You do know, former NYC Mayor Eric Adams is, or was, pro-Black, so there obviously are many expressions of what it can mean to be pro-Black, and like the cults of #BlackCapitalism and the #ProsperityGospel, not all of them are demonstrably healthy.

The racial wealth gap is one of the most important and measurable indicators of Americas racial disparities and progress to address racism.

While I think it's great that people focus on things like DEI and education about history imo one of the MOST effective solutions remains #reparations.
