If this was running #Linux – or even an updated #BlackBerry OS – I'd be ordering one right now. But #Android?
Me no want. Go away.

If you thing a 2 day AWS outage sucks, wait till you see flood in one of these data centers.
When I worked at #BlackBerry (remember them?) I was part of team which did a review of our data centers around the world for Disaster Recovery planning, 2011-2012 timeframe. The true planners had fits when they found out one of our data centers was 500m inside the 100 year flood plain of a river. Another, in Europe, was housed along side of a canal. The cost to move the first would have been $100Ms. The second got rebuilt to a safer place for quite a bit less. Neither were on this scale. Our environmental assessments were never completed.

I just watched #Blackberry the movie
It's pretty good. I enjoyed it. I doubt I'll ever watch it again, but it was enjoyable and informative.
I'm always mindful how movies lie for dramatic purposes though.
I liked when the corporate guy moves in and starts making his corporate demands on the tech nerds. The movie really came alive at that point. Up until then it was pretty average and slightly trite.
As soon as the corporate asshole appeared, it really got going.

I just took advantage of the extended early bird pricing on the Clicks Communicator. It's the most excited I've been about a phone since the BlackBerry KEY2 LE was announced at the end of 2018 (eight years ago).
I tried to talk myself out of it, but with the price of consumer tech, in general, continuing to surge, $429 was too good a deal to pass up for the value they are offering. I want them to succeed.
