Disagree here. As someone that started off with a brick Nokia where sms didn't even work outside our own carrier network and internet on cellphone was literally dialup that burned limited mins.
I eventually had a #Blackberry, #Palm, #Treo (Handspring), Sidekick, (whatever #Nokia called their OS), Ericsson, (I was getting a new phone every year)… the #iPhone blew them all away. I was stubborn and a bigtime Apple hater but when the iPhone 3G launched I gave in and never switched away since.

See the iPhone was fucking shit compared to other smartphones at the time, like it was YEARS behind, but apple did that thing where, like, remember how they did it with MP3 players? Instead of saying stuff like "four gigs of space, six hour battery life" they said "A thousand songs in your pocket and you don't have to fuck around with CDs," while all the other MP3 player makers were fighting over people who already knew about MP3 players, apple targeted people who'd never used an MP3 player before, and that's what they did with their smartphone. Anyway it didn't have a keyboard, it couldn't do flash, and you couldn't even copy and paste on the fucker but it sold like buggery because the adverts didn't say shit like "600mHz processor and 256 megs of RAM," they said "The internet in your pocket." Now you can't make just one website anymore, you have to make two websites, and suddenly the point of all this CSS stuff becomes clear

The blackberries are coming! 🫐
The thornless bramble (*Rubus fruticosus* inermis) flowers have faded and in their place hundreds of tiny green fruitlets are starting to form. Each one of those little clusters will eventually swell into a juicy blackberry — but there's still a long wait ahead before they're ripe. For now it's all patience and anticipation.
Brambles are a cornerstone of garden biodiversity. The flowers feed bees and hoverflies, the berries feed birds and small mammals, and the dense thicket provides shelter and nesting sites. A plant that gives back in every season.

De bramen komen eraan! 🫐
De doornloze braamstruik (*Rubus fruticosus* inermis) heeft uitgebloeid en in de plaats van de bloemen beginnen zich honderden kleine groene vruchtjes te vormen. Elk van die kleine trossen zal uiteindelijk uitgroeien tot een sappige braam — maar er is nog een lange wachttijd voor ze rijp zijn. Voorlopig is het geduld oefenen en uitkijken.
Braamstruiken zijn een hoeksteen van de tuinbiodiversiteit. De bloemen voeden bijen en zweefvliegen, de bessen voeden vogels en kleine zoogdieren, en het dichte struikgewas biedt schuilplaats en nestgelegenheid. Een plant die in elk seizoen iets teruggeeft.
