The debut album from Ukrainian one-man act Këkht Aräkh turns out to be a unique and paradoxical creature: at once aggressive and harsh. The lyrics are also notable in their dark romantic Gothic imagery: they are filled with longing and love, even desire, and melancholy and pain. An intriguing niche of blackened romance, in which the music will become as alluring and as complex as its darkly beautiful subject matter.

Hitting the back catalog. PS an album that captures the 90s-era of black metal immaculately, with its own unique twist. The only criticism I can give for this album is that it's too short.

#Saturdoom is here and I’ve got the new Ultha record to showcase. Ultha mix their fierce black metal with a lot of slower influences like #doom and #DarkWave which results in music that ticks all my boxes.

And when they then add haunting female vocals to the formula the results are especially great.
